Hahaha never thought of someone being a Valentine's Grinch. I guess its another term for bitter? I spent the day getting updates on other friends vday plans/how their day went. kinda cute in a puke way?

This is hilarious! If it makes you feel any better, I am in one of those "relationship" thingys, but we didn't celebrate Valentines Day. For starters I thought it was on Tuesday. Chocolate and love (the two are sometimes hard to distinguish) should never be reserved to just one day anyways :P

sarah! love this post, phenomenal writing skills! Totally agree with you on V-day... I have a significant other but we really don't believe in it at all... i don't think you're bitter at al... celebrating "love" once a year seems kinds of weird.

Great post though, can't wait to read more! x

absolutely love this. not necessarily bitter i think, especially since as a good friend of mine says "if your man's only treatin you well on valentine's, then you need to quit it"... definitely describes how i felt too!

i spent valentine's at work, and MC'ing an event, but really loved seeing all of my friends; let's not forget it involves friendship and not just romantic love!

really refreshing article

oddly enough, i am a post-Valentine's grinch...

might be because it's raining here, but it's definitely got be wantin a cuddle buddy

saying that, not just any cuddle buddy would too; of course, good looking, smart, funny, innovative etc. etc.

no wonder !

and on that chocolate note; LOVE post-holiday chocolate sales.

nothing tastes better in the morning than a self-bought, 90 percent off, marked down, heart box full of supermarket caramels

that's love <3

great writing style, and a great way of putting valentines grinchiness to paper w/out bitterness!

props to you, props to eidia and props of course to all of us single ladies :)

can't wait for your next post, this is wonderful :)
